Eurasian jay - Eichelhäher - Nötskrika

I absolutely love the forest near my place :heart: It's wonderful towake up and hear the birds sing instead of car noises. On top of that I get lots of photographic opportunities. This is the first time I ever got a decent photo of a jay :happybounce: Enjoy!

So einer flattert bei mir auch ständig herum, ich bekomme ihn aber nicht richtig vor die Linse. :)

Danke :D Ja, ich habe auch ein paar Anläufe gebraucht bis mich der Häher nahe genug rangelassen hat. Das wird schon noch!

Yes, it's one of the relatively few European species with such striking plumage :D We've got so many small brown or greenish birds...
